About this project
Metrics generates visual statistics that can be embedded in a GitHub profile README and other locations. It supports user accounts, organization accounts, and individual repositories.
The project is built around a plugin system and provides numerous configuration options. Built-in plugins cover GitHub-oriented data such as commit calendars, language activity, stargazers, lines changed, starred repositories and topics, licenses, coding habits, contributors, issue and pull-request follow-up, reactions, followers and related people, sponsors, discussions, achievements, notable contributions, recent activity, traffic, gists, projects, repositories, and random code snippets.
It also includes integrations and visualizations for external or complementary services, including GitHub Sponsors, Google PageSpeed, Stack Overflow, AniList, music activity, posts, RSS feeds, WakaTime, LeetCode, and Steam. Community plugins add additional cards such as website screenshots, chess, stock prices, crypto, fortune, personality results, and other personal data sources.
Reports can be assembled with multiple templates and rendered in SVG, Markdown, PDF, or JSON. The README presents many plugin variants, including compact and detailed displays, charts, calendars, maps, historical views, and screenshots.
