About this project

Godot Video Converter is a Python-based desktop application designed to streamline the process of preparing media assets for game engines, specifically Godot and Love2D. It provides a drag-and-drop GUI for batch converting video files into optimized OGV, MP4, WebM, and GIF formats, as well as audio into OGG, MP3, AAC, and WAV. Beyond standard conversion, the tool features specialized presets for game engines and the ability to generate PNG sprite atlases directly from video files. It relies on FFmpeg and ffprobe for processing and offers export summaries with recommendations to ensure compatibility and performance. The application is available for Windows and Linux, supporting portable builds like AppImage.
