About this project

Noi is a browser application designed around an interaction-first workflow that aims to reduce chaos and improve flow. It combines several capabilities into a single tool: a focused browsing loop, multi-window management for running parallel workspaces side by side, and session isolation to keep contexts clean and predictable. All data—including history, prompts, and settings—remains local-first on the user's device. A key feature is prompt management for AI chats, allowing users to organize, reuse, and iterate on AI workflows. Noi also includes a built-in terminal for running local commands, scripts, and tooling directly within the application. Additionally, it provides a `noi` CLI command that enables external tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI to control Noi programmatically, with more commands planned for future releases. The application supports multiple themes and visual styles to accommodate different setups and preferences. Noi is distributed as a downloadable application with releases available on GitHub, and the project maintains a Discord community for discussion and support.
