About this project
Monibuca (v5) is a streaming server development framework written entirely in Go, designed for high performance, low latency, and modular extensibility. It supports a wide range of streaming protocols including RTMP, RTSP, HTTP-FLV, WS-FLV, HLS, WebRTC, GB28181, ONVIF, and SRT. The framework emphasizes lock-free design, zero-wait forwarding, and multi-core utilization to achieve sub-second latency. Key features include dynamic time-shift playback, MP4/HLS/FLV recording, stream authentication, WebHook lifecycle events, gRPC remote calls, and built-in Prometheus monitoring. It also offers AI capabilities with ONNX model support, and a plugin system for extending functionality. Build tags allow customization (e.g., enabling SQLite, MySQL, or fasthttp). The project includes an example default configuration and a web UI for management. It is licensed under AGPL and welcomes contributions.
