About this project

yt-dlp-Manager is a user-friendly download manager built around the yt-dlp engine, designed to make downloading videos and audio from thousands of websites easy for everyone, regardless of technical skill. It runs on Windows and operates quietly in the background, providing a clear and intuitive interface. Key features include: - Support for thousands of video and audio sites. - Multi-user capability, allowing multiple users on the same computer or network to have separate accounts, settings, and download histories. - Download management with pause, resume, and scheduling options. - Fast downloading powered by the yt-dlp engine. - Output in various formats including MP4, MKV, and MP3. - Playlist and video playlist support. - Organized folder tracking for downloaded files. System requirements: Windows 10 or later, Intel i3 or equivalent processor, 4 GB RAM or more, at least 500 MB free disk space (more if storing many videos), an active internet connection, and possibly admin rights for installation. Getting started involves downloading the installer (.exe) from the release page, running it, and following the on-screen instructions. After installation, users can paste a video URL into the input field, choose format and resolution, select a save location, and click Download. Progress can be monitored, and downloads can be paused or stopped at any time. Settings allow customization of download folders, connection limits, automatic updates, schedules, default formats, and notifications. Troubleshooting tips include checking internet stability, allowing the app through antivirus or Windows Defender, restarting the program, and updating to the latest version.
