Kiro Crew is an open-source, persistent development workspace designed to run continuously on your own hardware (local or remote). It separates the agent runtime from your work surface via a Gateway, allowing you to interact through a desktop app, web dashboard, CLI, or messaging channels like Slack and Discord. Key capabilities include persistent sessions that survive restarts, self-learning from corrections and failures, self-evolving reusable skills, long-running checkpointed tasks, unattended scheduled jobs, subagent delegation, and extensible tools via MCP servers and hooks.
