# 🎓 Comprehensive School Attendance Management System Academic system (EACP) that digitizes school attendance control, made up of three modules: - **🖥️ Desktop (C# .NET Framework 4.7.2 + WinForms + MaterialSkin):** management of students, teachers, preceptors, courses, subjects, teaching assignments, enrollments, and users. Uses MySQL for relational data and MongoDB Atlas for authentication. Layered MVC-style architecture with entities, DAOs, and controllers. - **🔌 REST API (Node.js + Express 5):** exposes endpoints for login, teaching assignments, attendance, classes with QR token, and real-time events (SSE). Reads from/writes to the same MySQL as the desktop app. - **📱 Mobile app (React Native + Expo SDK 57):** allows preceptors, teachers, and students to record attendance via QR scan or short code, with real-time updates. **Roles:** Administrator (desktop only), Director, Preceptor, Teacher, and Student, with permissions filtered by role. **Security:** bcrypt passwords interoperable between desktop and API; credentials outside the repository via `.env` files ignored by git. **Installation:** requires Visual Studio, .NET Framework 4.7.2, Node.js 20+, MySQL, and Expo Go. Includes a destructive SQL script with test data (password = DNI). **Status:** in development, with a roadmap that includes write endpoints for teaching assignments, administrator role in the API, offline queue, and tests. **Git flow:** work by branches (`Juan-Torres`, `Isa-Vecco`) with Pull Requests to `main`; committing secrets is prohibited. Academic project with no defined license, documented in Spanish with technical and agent guides.
