About this project

Jitsi Meet is an open-source video conferencing platform that can be used as a standalone application or embedded into web applications. It supports all current browsers and offers mobile applications for Android and iOS. Key features include HD audio and video, content sharing, raise hand and reactions, chat with private conversations, polls, and virtual backgrounds. Users can run their own instance using provided Debian packages or a Docker setup. Web and native SDKs are available for integration into other applications. The project provides documentation through its handbook and includes information on security aspects, including End-to-End Encryption (E2EE).
