kotlinconf-app

KotlinConf App is the source code of the official application for the KotlinConf conference, published by JetBrains. It is written in Kotlin and shares code across platforms using Kotlin Multiplatform. Client: The Android, iOS, desktop and web clients are built with a shared UI using Compose Multiplatform. The app is distributed on Google Play for Android, the App Store for iOS, and deployed to GitHub Pages for the web. Backend: The server side is powered by the Ktor framework together with the Exposed database library. Building locally: Set up a Kotlin Multiplatform development environment, open the project in IntelliJ IDEA or Android Studio, then run the target platform. Android uses the app.androidApp run configuration; iOS uses KotlinConfAppScheme; desktop runs via the Gradle hotRun task with the main class org.jetbrains.kotlinconf.MainKt; web runs via the wasmJsBrowserDevelopmentRun Gradle task; and the backend starts with the backend:run Gradle task. The repository is a reference example of a production Kotlin Multiplatform application spanning mobile, desktop, web and server, and is useful for developers studying shared-UI architecture or Ktor-based backends.
