Feishin is a modern, open-source music player designed as a rewrite of Sonixd. It serves as a frontend for self-hosted music server solutions, providing a polished user interface for managing and streaming audio libraries. Key Features: - **Server Compatibility**: Connects to Navidrome, Jellyfin, and any OpenSubsonic-compatible server (including Airsonic-Advanced, Ampache, Funkwhale, Gonic, etc.). - **Playback Backends**: Offers two backend options: an MPV-based player for high-fidelity local playback on desktop clients, and a Web Audio API-based player for browser or Docker environments. - **User Experience**: Features a modern, responsive UI with support for synchronized and unsynchronized lyrics, smart playlist editing (specifically for Navidrome), and custom themes. - **Deployment Options**: Available as a native desktop application (Windows, macOS, Linux via AppImage/Flathub), a standalone web app, and a Docker container for easy self-hosting. - **Configuration**: Supports environment variable configuration for server URLs, authentication modes, and theme settings, making it suitable for headless or managed deployments.
