About this project

The unofficial WWDC app for macOS lets developers watch Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference content directly from their Mac. It provides access to Keynote and Platforms State of the Union live streams, all session videos released during WWDC week, and archived videos from previous years. Key features include: - Explore tab showing latest content, unfinished videos, recently favorited videos, and live special events - Schedule tab displaying daily WWDC schedules with live stream support for Keynote and other sessions - Video playback with variable speed controls (0.5x to 2x plus custom speeds), fullscreen mode, and native picture-in-picture - Searchable transcripts in multiple languages with timestamp navigation to jump to specific points - Clip Sharing to share up to 5-minute segments from any session video - Bookmarks for creating reference points within videos with annotations, discoverable through search - iCloud sync across Macs for favorites, bookmarks, and watch progress - Universal link sharing compatible with both macOS and the Apple Developer iOS app The app uses Realm for data storage and caching, Sparkle for automatic updates, CloudKitCodable for sync support, and Siesta for networking. It builds on internal libraries including ConfCore (API, storage, sync, transcripts), ConfUIFoundation (shared UI elements), and PlayerUI (player components). Building requires Xcode 16+, and CloudKit functionality is disabled when self-built due to provisioning limitations.
