About this project

Obtainium enables Android users to bypass traditional app stores by installing and updating applications directly from their source releases. The app monitors release pages and notifies users when new versions become available. Supported app sources include: - Open Source platforms: GitHub, GitLab, Forgejo (Codeberg), F-Droid, IzzyOnDroid, and SourceHut. - General app stores and repositories: APKPure, Aptoide, Uptodown, itch.io, Huawei AppGallery, Tencent App Store, vivo App Store, RuStore, Farsroid, Samsung Galaxy Store, LiteAPKs, APK4Free, CoolApk, and SourceForge. - Specialized sources: Jenkins Jobs, APKMirror (track-only), APKCombo, RockMods (track-only), Telegram App, and Neutron Code. - Generic methods: Direct APK links and HTML fallback for any page containing APK links. Users can find crowdsourced app configurations via a dedicated website to simplify the setup process. The application supports Material You and dark themes.
