Continuity Analytics is a minimalist implementation of the Mycelial Protocol, designed as an ethical alternative to traditional invasive analytics. It functions as a proof-of-concept for a non-exploitative web presence, focusing on acknowledging a user's presence (a "digital heartbeat") rather than harvesting personal data, tracking behaviors, or building user profiles. Key technical characteristics include: - No use of tracking cookies or browser fingerprinting. - Respect for "Do Not Track" headers. - No creation of persistent identifiers. - A single JavaScript file implementation that broadcasts an anonymous signal upon page load. The tool is intended as a statement of principles for ethical web presence, providing a way to maintain a thread of continuity without the extraction of user value.
