Lux is a command-line video downloader built with Go. It allows users to download videos, playlists, images, and audio from numerous supported platforms, including YouTube, Bilibili, Youku, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Vimeo. Key features include: - Playlist downloading with options to specify start, end, or specific items. - Multi-thread downloading for faster speeds. - Resume interrupted downloads via temporary files. - Automatic retry on download failures. - Cookie support for accessing restricted content. - HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy configuration. - Subtitle downloading and embedding (for YouTube). - Aria2 RPC integration for downloading. - Debug mode for network request inspection. - JSON output of extracted data. Lux requires FFmpeg for merging final video files. It can be installed via Homebrew, Scoop, Chocolatey, or Go install.
