About this project

Hypit provides a system for AI agents (such as Claude Code or Codex) to create and manipulate video content programmatically. By using a structured workflow, users can drop in a reference video to clone its style, structure, and pacing, or generate new content from scratch using templates. The framework focuses on creating re-runnable, editable compositions rather than one-off renders. Key capabilities include: - Video Cloning: Automatically extract and replicate the workflow of viral videos, including A-roll, B-roll, captions, and effects. - Mass Variant Generation: Create hundreds of video variations from a single command by swapping components like hosts, products, or languages. - Pluggable Architecture: Components are modular, allowing users to swap specific elements (e.g., changing a narrator while keeping captions) or write custom logic. - Code-Driven Visuals: Supports rendering visuals via front-end code, reducing reliance on expensive generative AI API calls. - Agent Integration: Designed to be used as a 'skill' for coding agents, allowing for environment-aware project management and automated production. Hypit is open-source and does not charge per-render fees, though users are responsible for the costs associated with the specific AI model services they integrate. It is suitable for creating social media ads, affiliate content, localized videos, and automated podcast clips.
