puter

Puter is an advanced, open-source, self-hostable internet computer designed to be feature-rich, fast, and highly extensible. It aims to provide a single place for the apps and features needed to work, create, and play, from a notepad and voice recorder to a spreadsheet and camera. For developers, Puter provides building blocks for web apps and games, including AI, cloud storage, a key-value database, and serverless workers. Apps can be published on the Puter App Store to reach and monetize users. Getting started options include local development via git clone, npm install, and npm start, which launches Puter at http://puter.localhost:4100. Self-hosting is supported on Linux/macOS with a curl install script and on Windows with a PowerShell command; further details are in the self-hosting documentation.
