About this project
ETHOS provides a structured transition loop for managing changes in a repository through a process of inspection, planning, proof execution, controlled review, and publication. It implements an isomorphic governance kernel where transitions are derived from commitments, facts, and prior attestations to generate new attestations.
Key features include:
- A command plane for the governed lifecycle: `status`, `plan`, `prove`, `land`, and `publish`.
- Support for both human and agent discovery, with specific entry points and JSON outputs for automated agents.
- A design that integrates with existing domain models, CI providers, and issue trackers without replacing them.
- A Python-based core package with a thin npm launcher adapter.
- Evidence-bound transition loops that ensure local and hosted evidence are separated before publication.
