About this project

Chrome Extensions Samples is Google's official repository of example projects for building Chrome Extensions. It includes single-API demonstrations in api-samples and more complete, multi-API extensions in functional-samples. The repository also contains archived material for the deprecated Chrome Apps platform and Manifest V2 resources. Developers can clone the repository and experiment with a sample by loading its folder as an unpacked extension in Chrome. The README links to Chrome Developers documentation, the extension samples discovery page, development basics, and contribution guidelines.
