SOPS (Secrets OPerationS) is a tool designed for managing encrypted files. It supports several file formats, including YAML, JSON, ENV, INI, and BINARY. For encryption and decryption, SOPS integrates with a variety of key management services and tools, including: - AWS KMS - GCP KMS - Azure Key Vault - HuaweiCloud KMS - age - PGP Originally launched at Mozilla in 2015, the project is currently a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) sandbox project.
