Quick Navigation is a backend addon for the REDAXO CMS that enhances the admin interface with a fast, searchable navigation bar. It offers live filtering of categories, articles, and media by ID, name, or YRewrite domain. Editors can maintain personal favorite categories and create new articles or categories directly via (+) buttons. The addon tracks recently edited articles and media, showing history in the structure view, minibar, and linkmap. For YForm tables, it provides a dropdown and a Spotlight-style live search across all permitted tables with field-type-aware filters, colored badges, and multi-language field support. A button registry allows developers to register custom buttons with priority sorting in the structure view, and extension points enable adding classic buttons to structure, linkmap, and mediapool. Access is via the 'm' access key; admins get all functions while editor permissions are configurable by role. The addon integrates with YForm and Watson if installed. It is developed by Friends Of REDAXO with contributions from Thomas Skerbis, Thomas Blum, Markus Staab, and others.
