About this project

Flycast is a multi-platform Sega Dreamcast, Naomi, Naomi 2, and Atomiswave emulator derived from reicast. It is actively developed with CI for Android, Windows, Linux, macOS, Nintendo Switch, and BSD. The project provides regular master builds, nightly dev builds, and stable tagged releases. Installation options include Google Play for Android, Flatpak for Linux, Homebrew for macOS, and manual builds for Xbox One/Series. Building from source is supported on Windows, macOS, and Linux with CMake and dependencies like SDL2, libcurl, and Vulkan/OpenGL. The emulator is known for its compatibility and performance across multiple platforms.
