About this project

Experiential is an open-source gateway and router tailored for AI agent workflows. It provides a unified, OpenAI-compatible API that seamlessly routes requests across hosted, BYOK (Bring Your Own Key), and local models. Key capabilities include fine-grained access control, budget enforcement, and cost optimization driven by production traffic analysis. Users can run a local gateway via a CLI tool, capture telemetry from desktop coding agents on macOS, and build custom model routers or fine-tune specialized open-source models from collected trace data. It also features configurable, anonymous product telemetry.
