About this project

AppForge is an open-source workshop designed to develop and host a collection of focused web utilities. The project serves as an incubator where mini-apps are built, tested, and eventually matured into standalone, forkable Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). Key featured applications include: - Scrapper Pro: A public media search tool with image/video cards and PDF export. - Story Studio: An evolving narrative engine for novels and comics with AI integration. - Any → Any Converter: A registry-based file format converter (CSV, JSON, YAML, XML). - Media Vault: A centralized asset management surface for uploaded and generated media. - Image Tools: Including an Image Labeler for tagging and an Image Workbench for resizing and compression. - Data Trackers: Live market data via Crypto Track and keyless weather lookups via Weather Now. - Developer Utilities: A suite of local tools for JSON formatting, Base64, UUIDs, JWT inspection, and regex testing. The platform is built using a modern stack featuring React 18, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase for authentication and database management. It implements a specific maturity ladder (Idea → Building → Beta → Launched → Full) to track when a tool is ready to be extracted as an independent product.
