C-Gate Web Bridge is a Home Assistant add-on that connects Clipsal C-Bus lighting and automation systems to Home Assistant using MQTT. It is designed as an add-on rather than a HACS integration. Key features include automatic MQTT discovery, allowing C-Bus devices to appear in Home Assistant without manual YAML configuration. It supports dimmable lighting, blinds/shutters, relays, PIR sensors, switches, and HVAC. The add-on can automatically detect Mosquitto broker credentials and offers the flexibility to connect to an existing remote C-Gate server or run C-Gate locally in a managed mode. It also includes connection pooling for high-performance command handling. Users can install it by adding the repository URL to the Home Assistant Add-on Store.
