About this project

testing-os is an open-source monorepo from Dogfood Lab that provides an AI-native testing workflow. It records, verifies, and learns from a repository's real test evidence, ensuring every test run becomes a provenance-confirmed record rather than a self-reported pass. Key capabilities include provenance-confirmed records bound to real CI runs via keyless provider identity, a YAML-based policy contract with a bounded no-eval predicate DSL, a parallel-agent swarm protocol for multi-agent audits, and a live status surface with per-repo records, indexes, and badges. The Atlas component reads a repository's workflows, manifests, tools, imports, and history to generate an atlas/README.md explaining how the repository works, with atlas check gating the map in CI and atlas mcp allowing agents to query it. The project consists of eight @dogfood-lab/* packages behind swarm and atlas CLIs, supports private fleet deployment via Docker with persistent memory, and implements a tamper-evident append-only hash chain with optional XRPL anchoring. It requires Node 22+ and supports POSIX filesystems with hardlink semantics.
