About this project

Cine is a video player for Linux that aims to provide a simple viewing interface while using MPV as its playback engine. The player includes controls for selecting audio and subtitle tracks, adjusting subtitle synchronization, and modifying video settings such as brightness, contrast, zoom, and aspect ratio. The project is distributed through Flathub and can also be built from source by cloning the repository in GNOME Builder and running it. Community translations are managed through Weblate, and the project follows the GNOME Code of Conduct. The README provides screenshots of playback, preferences, video options, and the main window.
