About this project

Cabopino PsychoSurfer is a guitar plugin and application for Linux that simulates amplifiers using neural models (NAM/AIDA-X). It offers two slots for loading models, convolution with cabinet IRs, and an effects chain consisting of slapback echo, reverb (spring or plate), and tremolo, all featuring master switches for total bypass. Designed for genres such as surf, rockabilly, and psychobilly, it includes predefined profiles for these styles and allows users to save their own configurations. The user interface mimics the Fender blackface style. Available as a VST2 plugin and a standalone application (compatible with JACK and PortAudio). Example models are included in the repository. The project is based on Ratatouille.lv2, utilizing NeuralAmpModelerCore and RTNeural.
