EchoVault (also known as Discord Badge Vault) is an open-source, self-hostable, and client-side archive dedicated to documenting the history and variety of Discord emojis and icons. The project catalogs over 10,000 unique emoji records, including official standard emojis, legacy pre-2020 designs, custom server emojis, animated Nitro reactions, and rare client-only icons. Key features of the platform include: - **Interactive Emoji Grid:** A responsive, client-side interface featuring hover previews, zoom, and metadata tooltips. - **Fuzzy Search & Filtering:** Instant client-side search across names, shortcodes, and Unicode values, with filters for introduction year, client version, and categories. - **Multi-Language Metadata:** Descriptions and names translated into 12 major languages. - **Historical Tracking:** Documentation of deprecated or redesigned icons, such as the legacy "Blob" series and early Twemoji versions. - **Data Export:** Options to export the entire collection as structured JSON datasets, static HTML galleries, or Markdown tables. The repository is designed to run entirely in the browser without complex build pipelines or external server dependencies, making it easy to host locally or deploy as a static site.
