About this project

Dab's Mod is a fork of the Perfect Dark PC port (itself a port of the N64 decompilation) that enhances the original game with new features while requiring the user to supply their own ROM. It adds movement mechanics like jumping, combat rolls, and melee combos, plus a third-person camera with adjustable tethering. The Combat Simulator supports up to 80 simulants with per-simulant stat sliders. Bodies persist, and a free-flying spectator camera is included. Screenshots (F12) and video recording (F11, via ffmpeg) are built in. Texture and model packs are supported, along with a dump tool for assets. It also integrates GoldenEye content and XBLA releases via an added-content folder. Mods, including console patches, can be loaded from a mods directory. The fork is MIT licensed and does not bundle any game assets.
