About this project
JoyLink Console is a unified HID device mapper and diagram generator aimed at flight simulation enthusiasts. It automatically detects connected joysticks, gamepads, throttles, and pedals, then produces interactive, exportable diagrams that update in real time as inputs are pressed. The tool supports SVG, PNG, JSON, and PDF exports, and can merge up to 16 physical devices into a single virtual controller through a Joystick Gremlin bridge.
The project includes a headless CLI (`joylink`) for exporting diagrams, converting Joystick Gremlin profiles, listing devices, and invoking AI-assisted profile generation. An optional AI integration supports both OpenAI and Claude APIs: users describe desired mappings in natural language, and the system generates or refines profiles. The interface is web-based, responsive, touch-friendly, and available in multiple languages including English, Chinese, Russian, German, Japanese, French, Spanish, and Korean.
JoyLink Console is distributed under the MIT License. The README states that it is a mapping and diagramming tool rather than a device driver, does not modify firmware or inject code into games, and keeps AI calls opt-in. The documentation includes example YAML profiles for Star Citizen and DCS World, architecture diagrams, and a profile gallery illustrating multi-device setups.
