Sketchbook is a platform designed for creating and exporting visuals from creative-coding sketches. It supports multiple rendering engines, including p5.js, GSAP, and Three.js, allowing users to configure sketches through a UI and export the results as images or videos. Key technical capabilities include: - Rendering and Export: Supports both in-browser rendering and headless recording via a Playwright backend. - Infrastructure: Utilizes a stack consisting of Next.js 16, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Prisma with PostgreSQL for persistence, and BullMQ with Redis for background job processing. - Storage: Integrates MinIO for S3-compatible storage of images and videos. - Optional Features: Includes feature flags for animated template previews, live thumbnail mirroring, push notifications, and an interaction bindings plugin that allows parameters to be bound to live inputs such as webcams, microphones, and gyroscopes.
