Marketing Skills for AI Agents is an open-source library of specialized markdown files that teach AI coding agents marketing expertise and workflows. Each skill is a self-contained document that provides frameworks, best practices, and step-by-step guidance for a specific marketing task. The library is designed for technical marketers and founders who want their AI agents to handle conversion optimization, copywriting, SEO, analytics, and growth engineering without manual prompting. The project supports multiple AI agent platforms including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, and any agent compatible with the Agent Skills specification. Installation is available via CLI (npx skills), Claude Code plugin system, git clone, git submodule, or SkillKit for multi-agent setups. The skill ecosystem is organized around a foundational product-marketing skill that all other skills reference first to understand the user's product, audience, and positioning. Skills cross-reference each other—for example, copywriting connects to CRO and A/B testing, while RevOps connects to sales enablement and cold email. The library covers over 40 skills across categories including Conversion Optimization (CRO, signup, onboarding, popups, paywalls), Content & Copy (copywriting, copy-editing, cold email, emails, social, image), SEO & Discovery (SEO audit, AI SEO, programmatic SEO, site architecture, competitors, schema), Paid & Distribution (ads, events, ad creative), Measurement & Testing (analytics, A/B testing), Retention (churn prevention), Growth Engineering (co-marketing, free tools, referrals), Strategy & Monetization (marketing ideas, psychology, launch, pricing), and Sales & RevOps (RevOps, sales enablement). The project is MIT-licensed and free to use. It includes a partner program with vetted tool integrations (such as Converly for conversion tracking and Ploy for AI website building) that are disclosed and do not influence core skill recommendations. The library also provides migration guides for upgrading from v1.x to v2.0, which renamed 17 skills and consolidated several into unified versions.
