About this project
CPN (Control Panel Network) is a self-hosted server management tool written in Rust. It functions as a hosting control panel, allowing administrators to install and manage web services through a web-based interface or CLI. The software supports major Linux distributions including AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, and Debian. Windows Server support is currently limited to Phase A.
Key capabilities include:
- **Web Installer**: One-click installation via a provided shell script.
- **Dashboard**: Manage websites, email accounts, databases, and SSL certificates from a unified UI.
- **CLI Interface**: Alternative terminal-based wizard for installation and management.
- **Remote Access**: Supports SSH tunneling for secure remote access to the panel.
The project is currently in Alpha status (v0.2.6-alpha.21), meaning it is not yet stable for production use. Users are advised to use disposable VPS environments, maintain backups, and consult the platform support documentation before deployment on critical hosts. The software is licensed under GPL v3.
