Harmonix is a language learning application that utilizes real music lyrics to help users acquire new vocabulary. The platform integrates with music services like Spotify, Deezer, and LRCLib to provide authentic audio contexts for learning. Key capabilities include: - Word of the Day: Personalized vocabulary presented within real lyrics. - Audio Integration: In-app playback via Spotify Premium clips or Deezer previews, complemented by Pocket-TTS for pronunciation. - Music Customization: Ability to filter learning content by music styles such as pop, rock, hip-hop, and reggaeton. - Learning Tools: Spaced Repetition System (SRS) review, streak tracking, and goal setting. - Library Management: Support for Harmonix and Spotify playlists, including the ability to export learned content to Spotify. - Multi-platform Access: Available via a Next.js web application and a native Flutter Android app. The technical stack consists of a Node.js/Express API with SQLite, NVIDIA NIM and OpenRouter for AI capabilities, and a Flutter-based mobile client.
