About this project

Cliprithm is a smart video silence remover built with Tauri, React, and Rust, utilizing FFmpeg for video processing. It allows users to automatically cut out silent parts of a video or speed them up using a 'Time Warp' feature. Key capabilities include: - **Automatic Editing**: Smart detection and removal of silence, and a visual timeline editor for trimming, splitting, and rearranging clips. - **Playback & Export**: Global playback speed control (0.5x to 4x) and export presets tailored for TikTok, Shorts, and Instagram Reels (supporting 1080p/4K and 30/60fps). - **Performance Optimization**: Hardware-aware encoding/decoding, cached proxy previews, and stream-copy cuts for efficiency. - **Additional Tools**: Beta support for generating transcriptions/captions via various AI providers (OpenRouter, Groq, Ollama, etc.) and multi-language support (English and Spanish). - **Cross-Platform Support**: Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux (with support for AppImage, deb, rpm, and AUR).
