About this project

TeamTalk 5 is a repository for developing the TeamTalk 5 voice communication platform. It is organized around a layered set of libraries and example applications rather than a single end-user product. Overview of contents: - SDK download: prebuilt client and server binaries are distributed separately via the vendor site, so developers can build their own software without compiling all dependencies. - Libraries: TeamTalkLib contains the source for the TeamTalk 5 DLL and server binaries, built with CMake; Makefiles and a docker-compose setup are provided for macOS, Ubuntu, Android, iOS and Raspberry Pi OS. TeamTalk_DLL exposes the C-API and headers. Language bindings include TeamTalk.NET (C#), TeamTalkJNI (Java), TeamTalkPy (Python) and teamtalk_rust (Rust, generated with bindgen). - Clients: example client applications include qtTeamTalk (C++/Qt), TeamTalkClassic (C++/MFC, described as working well with screen-readers), TeamTalkApp.NET (C#), iTeamTalk (Swift for iOS), TeamTalkAndroid (Java), plus Python and Rust example clients and a PHP console administration script. - Servers: sample server applications include TeamTalkServer (C++), TeamTalkServer.NET (C#) and jTeamTalkServer (Java). Building a server is noted as requiring the Professional Edition. The repository is primarily aimed at developers who want to integrate voice conferencing into their own applications or build custom clients and servers. Licensing terms are covered in the included License.txt.
