About this project
Elden Bingo is a Windows desktop application built on .NET 8.0 for organizing, playing, spectating and streaming Elden Ring bingo races. It was designed with the Bingo Brawlers community in mind and requires the .NET desktop runtime to be installed.
Core capabilities:
- Host a server that can run multiple bingo races simultaneously, or run a dedicated lobby server compiled from source.
- Create private bingo lobbies with an optional administrator password and upload custom bingo .json files.
- Join lobbies as an individual player, as part of a team, or as a spectator.
- In-lobby chat.
- Live map view of The Lands Between showing teammates' positions, or all players when spectating. The map reads game memory to fetch player positions and can launch Elden Ring without Easy Anti-Cheat.
- Lobby rules configuration: board size, lockout or non-lockout matches, random seed, preparation time, bonus points for bingo, limited starting classes, and a cap on squares from the same category.
- Match control for referees: start, pause and stop matches; check or uncheck squares on behalf of players.
- Player board controls: left click to check/uncheck a square, right click to add a private star marker, and mouse wheel to increment/decrement a per-square progress counter visible only to the owning team and spectators.
- Board customization for color, size and font.
- Map drawing tools for streamers, plus map controls for panning, zooming, following players, toggling name tags and switching between main game and DLC layers.
- Optional display of random starting classes in the map window for streaming overlays.
- JSON format compatible with Bingo Brawlers and BingoSync, extended with categories, center square tags, color tags and token replacements for dynamic square text.
Administrators gain no gameplay advantage; only Admin-Spectators, who are both administrator and spectator, receive referee privileges such as previewing and regenerating boards and acting on behalf of players. Settings are mainly aimed at streamers who need to size and position UI components for capture.
