About this project

AstrBot is an open-source, all-in-one Agent chatbot platform designed to integrate conversational AI into mainstream instant messaging (IM) applications. It targets individuals, developers, and teams who want to build AI companions, customer service bots, automation assistants, or knowledge-base-driven chat experiences directly inside their existing IM workflows. Core capabilities described in the README include: - AI LLM conversations with multimodal support, agent behavior, MCP, skills, knowledge base, persona settings, and automatic context compression. - Integration with agent platforms such as Dify, Alibaba Cloud Bailian, and Coze. - Multi-platform messaging support, including QQ, WeChat Work, WeChat Official Accounts, Feishu (Lark), DingTalk, Telegram, Slack, Discord, LINE, Satori, KOOK, Misskey, and Mattermost, with community adapters for Matrix, Rocket.Chat, and VoceChat. - A plugin extension system with a marketplace offering one-click installation of 1000+ plugins. - An Agent Sandbox for isolated execution of code and shell calls, with session-level resource reuse. - WebUI and Web ChatUI, the latter with built-in agent sandbox and web search. - Internationalization (i18n) support.
