About this project

Argilla is an open-source collaboration platform designed for AI engineers and domain experts to create, curate, and manage high-quality datasets. It supports a wide range of AI projects, including traditional NLP tasks (e.g., text classification, named entity recognition), large language models (LLMs) for RAG or preference tuning, and multimodal models (e.g., text-to-image). The tool emphasizes data quality to improve AI output, offering features like filtering, AI feedback suggestions, and semantic search to streamline labeling and model training. Users retain full control over their data and models, with workflows for continuous evaluation and iteration. Argilla can be deployed via Hugging Face Spaces and integrates with Python via its SDK. It is used by organizations like the Red Cross, Loris.ai, and Prolific for tasks such as crisis response classification, customer support automation, and research data collection. The project is community-driven, with active support channels and a roadmap for future development.
