OpenLogi is a native, local-first replacement for Logitech Options+, written in Rust with GPUI. It targets Logitech mice, keyboards and webcams, communicating over HID++ and UVC, and runs on macOS, Linux and Windows. The project is explicitly under active development and not yet stable, so features and configuration may change. Device support covers connections through Logi Bolt receivers, Unifying receivers, Bluetooth or wired links, with battery percentage and charge state reporting. Button remapping works through the OS input hook and offers a built-in action catalog plus custom keyboard shortcuts defined in the TOML config, including independent short/long-press actions and hold-until-release chords for push-to-talk. Per-application profile overlays auto-switch on app focus on macOS and Windows, and on Linux under X11/XWayland. Mouse features include capturing and remapping middle, mode-shift and thumbwheel buttons, per-direction gesture bindings with live capture on supported controls (Back/Forward, DPI/ModeShift, the dedicated gesture button and the haptic panel), an eight-slot cursor-centred Actions Ring with per-application layouts, DPI control with presets and Cycle/Set-preset actions, SmartShift mode toggle, sensitivity and permanent-ratchet panel, and per-device native scroll inversion on supported hardware. Keyboard support adds global F-key remapping with the same action catalog plus typed text, key combos and multi-step workflows, and static RGB lighting on supported devices. Camera support covers any Logitech UVC webcam (Brio, StreamCam, C920 series) with live preview that releases the camera when closed, hardware-level image controls such as zoom, focus, exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, white balance, tint, anti-flicker and low-light compensation, plus built-in Default/Streaming/Video call profiles and custom snapshots. Litra lights can be controlled for power, brightness and colour temperature, with optional auto power following camera activity. Configuration is a single plain-text TOML file that can be synced between machines, and a CLI exists alongside the GUI. Installation is documented for macOS (signed and notarized DMG, Homebrew cask), Linux (deb, rpm, Arch packages for x86_64 and arm64, plus a NixOS module with udev rules and a user agent service) and Windows (signed portable zip and per-user MSI, with a background agent owning device I/O and a system-tray icon). The README notes that Logi Options+ must be quit first because both applications contend for HID++ access. The code is dual-licensed under Apache-2.0 or MIT, with a vendored 0BSD HID++ crate; brand assets are excluded from those licences. The project states it is not affiliated with Logitech.
