Anytype is a personal knowledge base designed to function as a digital brain, enabling users to gather, connect, and remix information. It supports a variety of data structures including pages, tasks, wikis, and journals, allowing users to define their own data models. The platform is built with a focus on privacy, utilizing zero-knowledge encryption and an offline-first architecture. Key features include composable blocks (text, databases, kanban, calendar), cross-platform desktop support via Electron and TypeScript, and extensibility through a gRPC API and AI agents.
