About this project

Open Headunit is an Android application that transforms an Android tablet or phone into an Android Auto receiver. It is a revived version of the original headunit project by Michael Reid. The app supports wired USB connections, wireless connections via Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, or a USB wireless dongle, and self-mode for running Android Auto on the same device.
