About this project

Swift Radio is an open-source, professional radio station application for iOS built entirely in Swift, used by over 80 apps on the App Store. Key features include live streaming with background audio playback, scrubbers and progress bars for non-live streams, full Apple CarPlay support, album art and track metadata from streams and iTunes API, and integration with the lock screen and Control Center. It supports multiple stations from local or remote JSON files, pull-to-refresh, optional search bar, localization via Xcode String Catalogs, and an about screen with email and sharing. Built on FRadioPlayer, LNPopupController, NVactivitiesIndicator, and MarqueeLabel via Swift Package Manager. Setup requires editing Config.swift and stations.json. A simpler single-station version is available for purchase, covering both iOS and Android. Open source under the MIT License.
