About this project

Claude Account Switcher is a Windows system-tray application that manages multiple Claude Code (CLI) login accounts. It stores each account as an isolated profile and lets you switch the active account with one click, or run several accounts side by side in separate terminals without conflicts. The app copies and patches local credential files (`.credentials.json` and `~/.claude.json`) to switch accounts, and uses `CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR` for concurrent sessions. Features include a dark-themed UI, session usage tracking with 5-hour and weekly limit countdowns, a keep-alive mode that automatically restarts sessions on reset, cross-account session resume, re-login without losing profile data, configurable run options (PowerShell/cmd, admin, skip permissions), Explorer right-click integration, autostart, automatic updates, and 14 UI languages. It is built with .NET 9/WPF and distributed via winget or a self-contained installer. The project is unofficial and not affiliated with Anthropic.
