Police Come Help · Smart Lost-and-Found (Public H5) is a single-file HTML application for the public side of a police convenience service desk. It works out of the box and is suitable for projection, large screens, or mobile demos. ## Features - 🔍 **Lost Item Registration (LF)**: Describe the lost item by voice or text, generate a ticket number, and the system automatically matches suspected found-item tickets. - 🎒 **Found Item Handover (HD)**: Register a found item and automatically generate a 6-digit handover code for verification. - 📋 **Query / Pickup**: Check progress using a ticket number or pickup code. - 🎯 **Automatic Matching**: Match lost-item tickets and found-item tickets by item name + location keywords. - 🧑‍✈️ **Police Verification**: After matching, police verify and generate a pickup code; the public uses the code to pick up the item and complete write-off (one extra police checkpoint compared with a real system, to prevent false reports). - 🎤 **Voice Interaction**: Browser-native Web Speech API (ASR + TTS), automatically falling back to a text form when unsupported. - 💾 **Zero Backend**: Data is stored in browser localStorage and is not lost on refresh. ## Usage Open `index.html` directly in a browser. Chrome / Edge are recommended (best speech recognition support). Speech recognition must be used under `https://` or `localhost`; when opening directly via `file://`, manual entry can be used instead. ## Demo Flow 1. Use "I found something" to register an item → get a handover code. 2. Use "I lost something" to register the same item → the system indicates a match. 3. Enter the lost-item ticket details → "Police Verification · Generate Pickup Code". 4. In "Check Progress / Pick Up by Code", enter the pickup code → confirm pickup and write-off, completing both tickets. ## Directory ``` index.html # All UI, logic, voice, and data layer ``` ## Later Integration with a Real Backend Replace localStorage reads and writes with `/api` calls: record API, matching API, and pickup write-off API.
