MetaGPT is an open-source multi-agent framework that assigns different roles to GPT models, enabling them to collaborate as a team to handle complex tasks. With just a one-line requirement as input, it outputs user stories, competitive analysis, requirements documentation, data structures, APIs, and more. Internally, it simulates roles including product managers, architects, project managers, and engineers, providing the complete software development process with carefully orchestrated standard operating procedures (SOPs). The core philosophy is encapsulated as 'Code = SOP(Team)', materializing SOPs and applying them to teams composed of large language models (LLMs).
