THE FIRST COLLECTIONPB-Compiler is a from-scratch C# compiler for the PowerBASIC family (including QuickBASIC and Turbo Basic). It generates authentic 16-bit DOS MZ executables with byte-identical fidelity to original compilers. Features include an SSA-based optimization pipeline, support for modern language extensions in pb36, and cross-platform execution on 64-bit hosts.
rucc is an early-stage optimizing C compiler written in Rust. The README says nothing compiles C yet: M0/M1 cover the workspace, checked layer rule, driver skeleton, CI on Linux/macOS/Windows, and a preprocessor. It aims at SQLite, PostgreSQL and Linux, using SMT-verified rewrite rules, poison-free SSA IR, e-graphs, and self-encoded objects/DWARF.
