hca.py is a Python-based HCA decoder with updated C++ source for compiling an HCADecoder binary. It references related HCA decoding projects and notes vectorization as a future improvement.

heic-rs is a pure-Rust HEIC/HEIF decoder focusing on container parsing, grid compositing, and color conversion. It is no_std friendly, wasm-ready, and uses no unsafe code. Note that HEVC pixel decoding is not yet implemented.
